Student Bassoon Reed

Reed Expertise Student Bassoon Reeds are for the beginner to intermediate level bassoonist. They are medium-strength handmade reeds that produce a dark, focused sound with perfect intonation. Each reed is personally play tested to
manipulate the playing characteristics to ensure proper flexibility and stability. Commercial and machine-made reeds are not manufactured with any consideration for these nuances.

Premium French cane is used exclusively for all reeds from Reed Expertise. They are each play-tested during the manufacturing process and sanitized for purchase. Each comes securely packaged in a plastic reed vial for secure
mailing. Included are instructions on how to care for your reed to maintain its quality and longevity.
